Help Age India

Help Age India is a registered national level voluntary body. It is a secular, apolitical, non-profit and a non-government organization.

Help Age India provides consultancy, training and financial support to voluntary agencies which have high credibility ratings, to run service projects for the elderly. These projects are continuously evaluated and monitored.

The Director General of Help Age India looks after the forward planning and implementation of its policies and programmes with the support of functional Directorates at Head Office. The Society has a spread of 24 regional and area offices located throughout the country.

Aim and Tasks
Help Age India has set itself these aims and tasks:

To create awareness and understanding of the changing scenario in the society caused by the increasing numbers of the elderly and thereby of their socio-economic, psychological and age care needs.

To raise funds for creation of facilities especially designed to benefit the elderly and thus to improve the quality of their lives.

To highlight the positive and continuing contribution of the elderly in enriching and strengthening society, economy and polity.
